It's a new week.

Went to the gym this morning. My goal is to hit the gym everyday this week and see if I can loose a couple of lbs. With that in mind.
Current weight: 227.0 lbs

I worked out for about 45 minutes.

Friday Morning hike with Laurie

After getting the kids off to school, Laurie and I thought we would go on a little morning hike together. (She had already run 5 miles earlier in the morning). The skies were clear and it was a nice crisp fall morning.

It's a steep climb and it didn't take long for her legs to tire out (remember she had already run 5 miles. I on the other hand had fresh legs). After about 15 or 20 minutes she could tell I wanted go a little faster and said I could meet her at the top. So with a great burst of energy I took off, quickly moving around one switchback. As I neared the next switchback I was getting winded, looked back to see if I could see Laurie.... she was about 100 feet behind me. She is awesome! I humbly waited and we finished out the hike together. We made the hike in about 35 minutes. Not bad.


This was Laurie's first trip up to the "Y" and I think she enjoyed it.
